we hungry

MURRAY HILL.
Once you step inside the restaurant, you would feel cozy as if there was a fireplace inside.  They only sell thin crust pizza.  For all you Texans, give thin crust a chance!  I was craving Papa Johns for the past two weeks and am now giving up that craving now that I finally ate at Vezzo.  Although the waiter did not know the specific soups of the night, we agreed that it is because no one really orders the soup, rather patrons only come here for the thin crust.  We gave him a break on that one.  Inside, there are about 8-10 tables, either sitting 2 or 4 persons.  Outside on the patio, there are at least 6 tables. Inside, there is a bar that allowed people to sip on their drinks while waiting to pick up their order to go.  I suggest calling ahead of time to place a to go order ((212) 839-8300)

Overall, this is my go-to-pizzeria in my neighborhood.

One half was the Big Pineapple - perfect combination of salty and sweet plays well w your palate. Heavy toppings made the crust a little soggy. The other half was meat lovers w red onions = delicious. Loved the fresh basil.

Blueberry and Peach Cobbler: Crust doesn't quite fit my definition of a cobbler - but fresh fruit and real vanilla bean ice cream (not overly sweet) made it perfect. I also liked that the fruit wasn't over baked - just the right amt of cinnamon too.
